How to use the generator
- Choose a category (or leave it on random), the number of players and how many imposters.
- Press Deal new words. One card appears per player.
- Pass the phone. Each player taps their card to see their word, taps again to hide it, and passes it on.
- Everyone except the imposter sees the same secret word. The imposter sees "You are the imposter" (and the category, if you left that on).
- Go around the circle, each saying one word as a clue. Then vote on who the imposter is. Press Reveal all to check.

- Players: 3 or more. With 7+ players, try 2 imposters.
- Clues: each player says one word related to the secret word. Too obvious and the imposter learns the word; too vague and you look like the imposter.
- Voting: after one or two rounds of clues, everyone points at the player they suspect at the same time.
- Winning: if the imposter is caught, they can still win by guessing the secret word. If an innocent player is voted out, the imposter wins.

What is an imposter word generator?

How many players can use it?
From 3 to 20 players, with up to 3 imposters. The best games have 5 to 10 players and 1 imposter, or 2 imposters for bigger groups.
Can the imposter see the category?
You choose. Leave "Show the category to the imposter" on for an easier game for the imposter, or turn it off for hard mode.
